墾丁國家公園（Kenting National Park）。是台灣第一個國家公園，位於台灣南端，成立於一九八四年，園區除提供遊憩功能之外，還保育了許多亞熱帶的濱海植物和特殊的礁岩地形，更進行許多動植物保育計劃，其中最有名者即為台灣梅花鹿的復育與野放。Kenting National Park， founded in 1984， is located at the southern tip of Taiwan. 黑面琵鷺（Black-faced spoonbill），學名：Platalea minor。是一種冬候鳥，全世界僅存不到三百隻，是「華盛頓公約」公告瀕臨絕種的野生動物，其特徵是嘴巴扁平如琵琶，體型甚大，姿態優雅，有「黑面舞者」的美稱，每年冬天都有為數不少的黑面琵鷺飛到曾文溪口的沼澤區渡冬。There are less than 300 endangered black-faced spoonbills， also known as 「black-faced dancers」， left in the world.
