黑面琵鷺（Black-faced spoonbill），學名：Platalea minor。是一種冬候鳥，全世界僅存不到三百隻，是「華盛頓公約」公告瀕臨絕種的野生動物，其特徵是嘴巴扁平如琵琶，體型甚大，姿態優雅，有「黑面舞者」的美稱，每年冬天都有為數不少的黑面琵鷺飛到曾文溪口的沼澤區渡冬。There are less than 300 endangered black-faced spoonbills， also known as 「black-faced dancers」， left in the world.
